The Legislative Committee on Judiciary will hold a follow-up roundtable meeting tomorrow on the recent pay raise teachers received in August, which is required by public law. Committee chairman Senator Bob Klitzkie (R) says during the first roundtable in April discussions centered on whether the pay raise of 14% was an accurate adjustment, when local teacher salaries were compared to those at the national level, as well as what baseline year was used as part of the research.

Senator Klitzkie said that the main question to be discussed is expected to be whether the amount is appropriate pursuant to the public law. The roundtable will be held at the Guam Legislature Tuesday morning at 9.
