Since the release of some $238,000 for learning resources and technologies by the governor, Sen. Bob Klitzkie can only hope for more reform in GovGuam. According to the senator, he and Speaker Ben Pangelinan made an amendment to the budget bill earlier this year which created the library fund provision in Public Law 27-05.

(Sen. Robert Klitzkie) “The amendment moved the Passport Office to the Department of Revenue and Taxation under the control of the director of the department of revenue and taxation. The amendment created a fund half of which goes to enhance tax collection the other half goes to buy school library books and materials. I was really happy to collaborate with Speaker Pangelinan on this measure that will enhance tax collection and give our kids better school libraries.”
