Dear Friends:

This morning, Sen. Toni Sanford’s Committee on Economic Development, Retirement, Investments, Public Works and Regulatory Functions, held a public hearing for Bill 214, the Marine Corps Drive Rededication Act.

For more information on Bill 214 click here:

I thank everyone who testified in favor of the bill and for taking time out of their schedules to participate in the legislative process. The committee heard many people speak about the need to continue to remember the true meaning behind the name of Guam’s busiest road.

There is still time to submit testimony in favor of Bill 214. Please e-mail Sen. Sanford at

Please give me a call or e-mail me to discuss any issues on your mind. As always, I'm interested in your thoughts and ideas.
